The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process through which adults learn about the teachings of Jesus as the Catholic Church has handed them on and put these teachings into practice by living as part of the Catholic community, serving others and praying. RCIA is for three groups of people:
Those who have never been baptized in any faith,
People who were baptized in another Christian faith, and
Baptized Catholics who have never received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
For more information please speak to a priest after Mass or call the parish office. We would love to help you on your journey to a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church.

As you may know we are starting a Hot Homemade Meal Delivery program here at All Saints Church called Take and Eat.
We would like to know if you know anyone (yourselves included) who would benefit for getting a hot homemade meal once a month every first Saturday.
There is no charge for the meal and there are no qualifications in getting the meal. Just asking for it is enough.
Please call the rectory office and give the name and address of the person or persons who would like to receive the meal.
We will build this program based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ "I was hungry and you gave me food, a stranger and you welcomed me, ill and you cared for me."
Dear members of St. Mary’s and All Saints Parish. After conultation with St. Mary’s Parish Council Memberes and some conversations with members of both Churches.
Please be aware of:
Sidewalks around the school will be closed to public and not plow during whole winter season.
Parking lot behind St. Mary’s School will be closed to public from Monday, January 6, 2020 till Thursday, April 2, 2020.
That should make it Christmas and Easter Seasons, without any worries by serving others the best way we can.
During that time, please be aware that you are welcome to park at the Rectory on Saturdays and Sundays before Masses or other social functions like Polish-Plate dinner etc. Just be sure that you don’t brake the 11th Commandment: Don’t block or take space for Pastor’s car.
Parish Pastoral Councils Election:
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL CANDIDATES 2020
The Code of Canon Law recommends the establishment of Parish Pastoral Councils. In response to this recommendation, the Bishops of the Church of Springfield have directed each parish have Parish Pastoral Council. DIRECTIONS TO CHOOSE EIGHT (8) CANDIDATES FROM EACH PARISH: PLACE AN X IN THE BRACKET { } NEXT TO THE NAME YOU HAVE CHOSEN. (TO ENSURE FAIRNESS TO ALL CANDIDATES DO NOT CHOOSE MORE THAN EIGHT (8) CANDIDATES). THIS ACTION WOULD DISQUALIFY YOUR BALLOT. What the parish council is:
- To foster full participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of the parish.
- Be a consultative voice to the Pastor
- Parish Pastoral Council is a community of your fellow parishioners who assist the Pastor in leading the parish in its spiritual and social outreach and development.
- Each Parish will have a separate Council at this point.
Membership:
- Only Registered members As Canon 512(3) states, „No one, expects members of the Christian faithful outstanding in firm faith, good morals, and prudence is to be designated to a pastoral council”
- Positions on the Council are for 3 calendar years terms, one - third of these positions end each year. Each member may serve a maximum of 6 years. After a year break, they might be reelected for additionals 3 years.
Mt. Carmel Roads: Following the advice from the Catholic Cemeteries OIce for the Diocese of Springfield, I have made a decision of closing Mt. Carmel cemetery for the winter season. We are hoping for just light snow on Christmas so that you can visit graves of your family members. Our legitimate reason and ONLY reason to close Mt. Carmel Cemetery is because of the new oil and stone roads that were done back in July. This was a very costly (26,800.00) project and winter plowing on the first year after the project was done might destroy the roads. We can’t take any chances of that happening. We are very sorry for any problems that this may cause.
